Hey there Reader,

Finding Connection, Overcoming Fear& a Little Irish Luck

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️

Today, I’m celebrating my Irish heritage with pride. My maternal grandparents came from Kilkenny, a beautiful town in Ireland.

Years ago, my husband and I had the chance to visit while I was six months pregnant with my last child.

It was one of those trips where you step into a place you’ve never been, yet somehow, it feels like home.

Even better—I met family I had never known before!

There’s something deeply satisfying and nourishing about connecting with your roots, whether they’re by blood or simply by what resonates in your soul.

So today, I wear green, I celebrate, and I invite you to embrace a bit of Irish luck, wherever you are.

And in true Irish fashion, here’s a blessing for you:

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.

The Dreams You Hold Dearest 🍀

May the dreams you hold dearest,
Be those which come true,
The kindness you spread,
Keep returning to you.

Embracing Change & Moving Through Fear

While today is all about celebrating, I also want to talk about something deeper—how we handle change and fear.

I’m hosting a conversation today about embracing change, and one thing I know for sure is that fear often shows up when we feel disconnected from our identity, our purpose, or what we truly desire.

It’s that unsettling place of uncertainty—the “Am I doing what I should be doing?” feeling.

Maybe you have an idea of what you want, but you don’t know how to get there.

Maybe you’re afraid you don’t have the support, the skills, or even the clarity to move forward.

So how do we stop letting fear dictate our choices? By meeting it with kindness, with gentleness, and with a willingness to check in with ourselves daily.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want to live my life moving forward, and I’ve created a personal five-point guide—simple things I aim to do every day to keep me aligned with what truly matters:

1. Find joy every day. ✨ It doesn’t have to be something grand. Maybe it’s the first sip of tea, your dog or cat curling up beside you (yes, our feline friends know a thing or two about finding comfort), or a good belly laugh. Just take a moment to recognize it.

2. Be kind to someone else. 💛 A small gesture—whether it’s holding the door open, sending a thoughtful text, or just offering a warm smile—can make a difference.

3. Say ‘I love you.’ ❤️ To a partner, a friend, a pet, or even yourself. Look in the mirror and say it out loud. It’s amazing what self-love can do for our confidence and well-being. We don't do this enough, and while you may think this is indulgent and silly it is prescribed by some of the most intelligent and renowned scientist.

4. Laugh. 😂 Find something that makes you laugh or giggle every single day. It literally changes the chemistry in your body!

5. Hug someone. 🤗 Physical connection matters. If hugging isn’t your thing, find another way to connect—a reassuring pat on the back, holding hands, or even a simple touch on the arm. We all need connection in some form. This too changes the chemistry in your body - it is healing.

Points to Ponder:

  1. Where in your life do you feel most connected? Where do you feel disconnected?
  2. What five point guide would you create for yourself to improve your life?
  3. If you could choose one aspect of your life where fear wasn’t a factor, what would you do differently?

May today bring you joy, kindness, and maybe even a bit of magic. 🍀

With warmth and belief in you,
Marianne

There’s a quiet space we all settle into—sometimes by choice, sometimes by habit. It’s that familiar territory where we hover just under the surface of what we truly want. That space? It's our set point. It’s the place where things feel manageable, maybe even comfortable, but often—if we’re honest—it’s not where we really want to be....
