Hey there Reader,
Creating Space for What You Truly Want- Now
Last week, I asked you to write a vision letter to yourself — to imagine what you want your life to look and feel like. This week, we’re moving from writing to doing.
And if you haven’t written that letter yet, commit to doing it now.
You won’t regret it — but you will need to dedicate some time to it.
Because this isn’t just about words on a page.
It’s about opening your mind, your heart, and your soul to what’s possible.
This is where we stop limiting ourselves.
No more anchoring into past examples of how things didn’t work out. No more analyzing what went wrong or replaying old stories.
This is about creating free space for new things to emerge — for new experiences, opportunities, and joy to come into your life.
When you do this kind of visioning, you’re activating your brain’s reticular activating system — the internal filter that helps you notice what aligns with what you want.
It’s how you start to call in what you’re focusing on — not what you don’t want.
So let yourself imagine boldly.
Write it, speak it, and visualize it.
Anchor into that energy, and as you do, you’ll begin to connect more deeply with what you truly want to see unfold in your world.
Now, here’s the key: to make room for what’s next, you have to release what no longer fits.
Just like clearing out clutter in your home or closet — when you let go of what’s old or unused, you instantly create space.
People often describe that as freeing — and it is. You’re opening up capacity for something new, something richer, something that feels like you again.
And this brings us to one of the most powerful ways to create that space: learning to say no.
Saying no doesn’t make you unkind or ungrateful. It makes you intentional.
It means you’re choosing where your energy goes, what matters most, and what will bring you closer to your vision.
So as we enter the holiday season — when the pace picks up and the “shoulds” start piling on — I want you to practice saying no with grace and conviction.
“No, thank you.”
“No, I’m not available for that right now.”
That’s it. No story needed. No guilt attached.
Every “no” you say is a quiet “yes” to something that truly lights you up.
And that’s where the joy starts to flow back in.
When we say yes to everything, we crowd out our capacity to receive new opportunities and experiences. When we say no to what drains us, we create space for what nourishes us — and that’s exactly what this season can be about.
Five Steps to Move from Resistance to Possibility
- Write — or rewrite — your vision letter.
Get specific about what you want. Picture it clearly. Feel it in your body. Don’t hold back or limit yourself based on what’s happened before.
- Visualize and speak it out loud.
Reinforce your vision through your senses — see it, say it, write it. This strengthens your focus and helps align your energy with what you want.
- Say no to what doesn’t align.
Practice it. Keep it simple and kind. Each no opens space for what truly matters.
- Clear the mental clutter.
Write down the stories or beliefs that make you feel stuck or obligated. Seeing them on paper helps you challenge and release them.
- Start doing one thing that reflects your vision now.
Don’t wait. Take one small action that moves you closer to what you want — something that feels authentic and joyful.
This season, choose to say yes to yourself — to your vision, your peace, and your possibility.
That’s where everything new begins.
With love Marianne
